Conference to thoroughly grasp, propagate and organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress

The Party Committee of the Department of Industry and Trade organized a conference to research, study, propagate, and organize the implementation of the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Attending and directing the conference were Mr. Nguyen Ba Chinh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of the Party Committee - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and all members of the Party Committee and the masses of the Department of Industry and Trade. The Organizing Committee implemented the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic according to regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Chinh - Member of the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen province - Secretary of the Party Committee - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade gave his speech.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ba Chinh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of the Party Committee - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade emphasized the 13th National Congress of the Party is an important political event of the entire Party, people and military. The Conference was officially opened in the morning of January 25^th, 2021 and closed on February 1, 2021 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi. Attending the congress were 1,587 delegates representing more than 5.2 million party members of the whole party. The 13th National Congress of the Party approved and decided on the goals, directions and tasks for socio-economic development in the five years from 2021 to 2025, defining goals and directions to 2030 and a development vision of the country by 2045. This is an important milestone for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party in 2030; the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam which is now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 2045.

Overview of the Conference

At this conference, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee assigned the reporters to thoroughly grasp 05 topics including:

Theme 1: Political report of the 12th Party Central Committee at the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Theme 2: Summary report on Party building and implementation of the Party Charter of the 12th Central Committee at the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Theme 3: The 10-year socio-economic development strategy in 2021-2030 and the 5-year socio-economic development plan for 2021-2025.

Theme 4: New perceptions and new thinking on Vietnam’s defense.

Theme 5: New perceptions and new thinking on national security.

The content focused on core issues, new perceptions and thinking in the documents of the 13th Party Congress; affirming the achievements, learning lessons from the practice of 35 years of national renewal, especially the 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Congress; fully and deeply identifying advantages, opportunities as well as challenges and tasks in the coming time.

At the end of the conference, the Party Committee of the Department approved the drafting of action plan to implement the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.

At the Conference, the reporters highly appreciated the spirit of study, research, listening and seriousness of Party members and the masses. Simultaneously, recommending the branches under the Party Committee continue to research and carry out in monthly activities and requiring Party members and the masses to be deeply aware of researching, studying, propagandizing and implementing the Resolution of the 13^th Party Congress.
